These are the area where guests are usually invited upon entering the home. Thus, it is a must to keep it always attractive. Despite being used quite often, paint in these areas tends to last for a long time.

The paint in your living and dining room may be changed every five to seven years. This is quite a long period but possible especially if your painter has used high-quality, durable paint. The decors, furniture, and other stuff on the area also prevent people from touching the walls.

Kitchen & Bathroom

The kitchen and bathroom will need fresh paint every 3 to 4 years. These two are among the busy rooms in the house. A lot of cooking and food preparation are done in the kitchen. The bathroom is also used frequently.

What is present in both areas is water. Thus, the most durable paint is needed to be used here.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms also do not require frequent painting. It usually lasts long since there is not much activity in this room that could ruin the walls. However, it is a different story if it’s a child’s room.

If it’s just minor patches, it can be touched up with the same paint. These little touch-ups are not that visible anyway.

Ceilings

Also part of your house interior is the ceiling. Repainting a ceiling may be needed due to sunlight, moisture, and other wear. A newly painted ceiling can also make your home look bright. More than that, it could prevent further damage. When you find the right professional painting company, ceiling paints usually last up to 10 years.

Trim & Baseboards

You should also not forget your interior trim when speaking of repainting. Trims are usually repainted every two to four years. This is the same as your baseboards, doors, window trim, cabinets, and other decorative wood details.
